This project is a great way for kids to help decorate their home or school
room for Valentine's Day. It also makes a great Valentine's Day gift for
their parents.

Supplies
- Heart Shapes on white paper
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
- String or Yarn
- Hole Punch
Instructions
- Print or draw hearts onto white paper. To print from a computer use
our
template.
- Or for a non-Valentine theme, use stars (print
our template) or other shapes for the garland.
- Color and decorate the hearts. Use crayons, stickers, colored pencils,
and/or glitter to decorate the shapes.
- Cut out the shapes. For younger children, this can be a job for an
adult to help with.
- Punch 2 holes into the top of each heart. One near each of the rounded
tops.
- Cut a piece of string or yarn the length you wish the garland to be.
- Feed the yarn in through the back of the left side of one heart and
out the back through the other hole. Continue this for each heart,
alternating various sizes.
- When all the heart shapes have been added, create a loop on each end
for hanging the garland.
