When I first learned how to crochet (many years ago), I went
to the local library and found a stack of crochet pattern
books. It was such a great way for me to explore patterns,
look at the finished photos, and get a good idea of what types
of patterns and stitches I really liked. Today the internet
offers many free patterns that you can download, but sometimes
there isn't a picture to go with the pattern, or the picture
is too small or just doesn't give you a good enough
representation of the finished crocheted item. Full-color
books can be a fun way to keep patterns on hand in your own
crochet supply cabinet.
The following sites include a variety of crochet pattern
books. Take a look around at the many books these sites offer.
You are sure to find just what you are looking for.
